ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ಸದಾಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದೇಕೆ? ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇವಿನ ಕುರಿಮಂದೆಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೋಪವು ಹೊಗೆಯಾಡುವದು ಯಾಕೆ?
Maschil of Asaph. O God, why hast thou cast [us] off for ever? [why] doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture?
ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನೂ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯ ಕೋಲನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದ ಈ ಚೀಯೋನ್‌ ಪರ್ವತವನ್ನೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೋ.
Remember thy congregation, [which] thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, [which] thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt.
ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಸದಾಕಾಲದ ನಾಶನಗಳಿಗೆ, ಅಂದರೆ ಶತ್ರುವು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಕೆಟ್ಟತನದಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸು.
Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; [even] all [that] the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary.
ನಿನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಭೆಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗರ್ಜಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ತಮ್ಮ ಧ್ವಜಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತುಗಳಾಗಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns [for] signs.
ದಟ್ಟವಾದ ಮರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡಲಿ ಎತ್ತುವವನ ಹಾಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ;
[A man] was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ಕೆತ್ತನೆ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕೊಡಲಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರು ಹೊಡೆದು ಬಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.
ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿವಾಸವನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಗೆ ಕೆಡವಿ ಹೊಲೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled [by casting down] the dwelling place of thy name to the ground.
ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಕೆಡವಿ ಬಿಡೋಣ ಎಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಸಭಾಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡು ತ್ತಾರೆ.
They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.
ನಮ್ಮ ಗುರುತುಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡದೆ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ; ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಯಾವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೂ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಇದು ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದವನು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
We see not our signs: [there is] no more any prophet: neither [is there] among us any that knoweth how long.
ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ವೈರಿಯು ನಿಂದಿಸುವದು ಎಷ್ಟರ ವರೆಗೆ? ಶತ್ರುವು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ದೂಷಿ ಸುವನೋ?
O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?
ಯಾಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು, ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈ ಯನ್ನು ಸಹ ಹಿಂದೆಳಿಯುತ್ತೀ? ನಿನ್ನ ಎದೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊರತೆಗೆ.
Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck [it] out of thy bosom.
ದೇವರು ಪೂರ್ವದಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಅರಸನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಾತನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
For God [is] my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಭೇದಿಸಿದಿ; ತಿಮಿಂಗಿಲಗಳ ತಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜಜ್ಜಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿ.
Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.
ನೀನು ಲಿವ್ಯಾತಾನದ ತಲೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು ತುಂಡು ತುಂಡುಮಾಡಿದಿ. ಅದನ್ನು ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿ.
Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, [and] gavest him [to be] meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
ನೀನು ಬುಗ್ಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರವಾಹವನ್ನೂ ವಿಭಾಗಮಾಡಿದಿ; ಮಹಾ ನದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಒಣಗಿಸಿದಿ.
Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers.
ಹಗಲು ನಿನ್ನದು; ರಾತ್ರಿಯು ಸಹ ನಿನ್ನದು; ನೀನು ಬೆಳಕನ್ನೂ ಸೂರ್ಯ ನನ್ನೂ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ.
The day [is] thine, the night also [is] thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
ನೀನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇರೆ ಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸಿದ್ದೀ; ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಳಿ ಗಾಲವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದೀ.
Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.
ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ವೈರಿಯು ನಿಂದಿಸಿ ಮೂರ್ಖರು ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೋ.
Remember this, [that] the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and [that] the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.
ನಿನ್ನ ಬೆಳವಕ್ಕಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ದುಷ್ಟರ ಸಮೂ ಹಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸ ಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ದೀನರ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಸದಾ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಮರೆತುಬಿಡಬೇಡ.
O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude [of the wicked:] forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever.
ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಗೌರ ವವನ್ನು ಕೊಡು; ಭೂಮಿಯ ಕತ್ತಲಿನ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಕ್ರೂರತನದ ನಿವಾಸಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಯವೆ.
Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
ಕುಗ್ಗಿ ದವನು ಅವಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರಿಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಇರಲಿ; ದೀನನೂ ಬಡವನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲಿ.
O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name.
ಓ ದೇವರೇ, ಏಳು; ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿವಾದಿಸು; ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮೂರ್ಖನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ನಿಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಜ್ಞಾಪ ಕಮಾಡಿಕೋ.ನಿನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಬಿಡಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳ ಘೋಷವು ಯಾವಾ ಗಲೂ ಏಳುತ್ತದೆ.
Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily.
ನಿನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಬಿಡಬೇಡ; ನಿನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಗಳ ಘೋಷವು ಯಾವಾ ಗಲೂ ಏಳುತ್ತದೆ.
Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.
