ದೇವರ ಕೋಪವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಎದ್ದು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದವ ರನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪ್ರಾಯಸ್ಥರನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಬೀಳಿಸಿತು.

29ಅವರು ತಿಂದು ಬಹಳ ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾದರು; ಅವರು ಆಶಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
30ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಶೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ಅವರ ಊಟವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ಬಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಾಗ

32ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾ ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿ ಆತನ ಆದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ನಂಬ ಲಿಲ್ಲ.
33ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವರ ದಿವಸಗಳನ್ನು ಉಸಿರಿ ನಂತೆಯೂ ಅವರ ವರುಷಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳವಳದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮುಗಿಸಿದನು.
