1. 8ನೀನು ಕಂಡ ಈ ಮೃಗವು ಮೊದಲು ಇತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ತಳವಿಲ್ಲದ ತಗ್ಗಿನಿಂದ ಏರಿ ಬಂದು ನಾಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವದು. ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವವರೊಳಗೆ ಯಾರಾರ ಹೆಸರು ಗಳು ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರ ಹಾಕಿದಂದಿನಿಂದ ಜೀವಗ್ರಂಥ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅವರು ಮೊದಲು ಇದ್ದು ಈಗ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಇನ್ನು
2. 9ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಆ ಏಳು ತಲೆಗಳು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಕೂತು ಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಏಳು ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳೇ.
3. 10ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವು ಏಳು ಮಂದಿ ರಾಜರು; ಐದು ಮಂದಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಬ್ಬನು ಇದ್ದಾನೆ, ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ಬಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲ ಇರಲೇ ಬೇಕು.
4. 11ಮೊದಲಿದ್ದು ಈಗ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವ ಆ ಮೃಗವು ತಾನೇ ಎಂಟನೆಯವನು; ಅವನು ಆ ಏಳು ಮಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಾಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
5. 12ನೀನು ಕಂಡ ಆ ಹತ್ತು ಕೊಂಬುಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದದಿರುವ ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ರಾಜರು. ಅವರು ಮೃಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಜರಂತೆ ಒಂದು ತಾಸಿನವರೆಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾರೆ.
