1ಪೌಲನೆಂಬ ನಾನು ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ದಾಸನೂ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲನಾಗಿರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆ ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ದೇವರ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
2(ಆ ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯನ್ನು ಆತನು ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಬರಹಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನು).
3ಅದು ಯಾವದೆಂದರೆ, ಆತನು ಶಾರೀರಕವಾಗಿ ದಾವೀದನ ಸಂತಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಾತನೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕರ್ತನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ದೇವರಕುಮಾರನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ವಿಷಯವಾ ದದ್ದೇ;
4ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕನು ಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತವರೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನ ಹೊಂದುವದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಆತನು ದೇವಕುಮಾರನೆಂದು ಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟನು;
