1. 13അവൻ തന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരോടു: കഴുതെക്കു കോപ്പിട്ടുതരുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു, അവർ കഴുതെക്കു കോപ്പിട്ടുകൊടുത്തു; അവൻ അതിന്റെ പുറത്തു കയറി ദൈവപുരുഷന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു;
2. 14അവൻ ഒരു കരുവേലകത്തിൻ കീഴെ ഇരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു: നീ യെഹൂദയിൽനിന്നു വന്ന ദൈവപുരുഷനോ എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു.
3. 15അവൻ അതേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അവൻ അവനോടു: നീ എന്നോടുകൂടെ വീട്ടിൽ വന്നു ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
4. 16അതിന്നു അവൻ: എനിക്കു നിന്നോടുകൂടെ പോരികയോ നിന്റെ വിട്ടിൽ കയറുകയോ ചെയ്തുകൂടാ; ഞാൻ ഈ സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു നിന്നോടുകൂടെ അപ്പം തിന്നുകയില്ല വെള്ളം കുടിക്കയുമില്ല.
5. 17നീ അവിടെവെച്ചു അപ്പം തിന്നരുതു, വെള്ളം കുടിക്കരുതു, പോയ വഴിയായി മടങ്ങിവരികയും അരുതു എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളപ്പാടായി എന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
