ആഹാബ് ഓബദ്യാവോടു: നീ നാട്ടിലുള്ള എല്ലാ നീരുറവുകളുടെയും തോടുകളുടെയും അരികത്തു ചെന്നു നോക്കുക; പക്ഷേ മൃഗങ്ങൾ എല്ലാം നശിച്ചുപോകാതെ കുതിരകളെയും കോവർകഴുതകളെയും എങ്കിലും ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ നമുക്കു പുല്ലു കിട്ടും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

- 7ഓബദ്യാവു വഴിയിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഏലീയാവു എതിരേറ്റുവരുന്നതു കണ്ടു അവനെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു സാഷ്ടാംഗംവീണു: എന്റെ യജമാനനായ ഏലീയാവോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
