1. 2നീ ഇന്നു എന്നെ പിരിഞ്ഞുപോകുമ്പോൾ ബെന്യാമീന്റെ അതിരിങ്കലെ സെൽസഹിൽ റാഹേലിന്റെ കല്ലറെക്കരികെവെച്ചു രണ്ടാളെ കാണും; നീ അന്വേഷിപ്പാൻ പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോന്ന കഴുതകളെ കണ്ടുകിട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ അപ്പൻ കഴുതയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ചിന്ത വിട്ടു: എന്റെ മകന്നുവേണ്ടി ഞാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്യേണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു നിങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ചു വിഷാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവർ നിന്നോടു പറയും.
2. 3അവിടെനിന്നു നീ മുമ്പോട്ടു ചെന്നു താബോരിലെ കരുവേലകത്തിന്നരികെ എത്തുമ്പോൾ ഒരുത്തൻ മൂന്നു ആട്ടിൻകുട്ടിയെയും വേറൊരുത്തൻ മൂന്നു അപ്പവും വേറൊരുത്തൻ ഒരു തുരുത്തി വീഞ്ഞും ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നു പുരുഷന്മാർ ബേഥേലിൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുന്നതായി നിനക്കു എതിർപെടും.
3. 4അവർ നിന്നോടു കുശലം ചോദിക്കും; നിനക്കു രണ്ടു അപ്പവും തരും; നീ അതു അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വാങ്ങിക്കൊള്ളേണം.
4. 5അതിന്റെ ശേഷം നീ ഫെലിസ്ത്യരുടെ പട്ടാളം ഉള്ള ദൈവഗിരിക്കു എത്തും; അവിടെ പട്ടണത്തിൽ കടക്കുമ്പോൾ മുമ്പിൽ വീണ, തപ്പു, കുഴൽ, കിന്നരം എന്നിവയോടുകൂടെ പൂജാഗിരിയിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവരുന്ന ഒരു പ്രവാചകഗണത്തെ കാണും; അവർ പ്രവചിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും.
5. 6യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവു ശക്തിയോടെ നിന്റെമേൽ വന്നിട്ടു നീയും അവരോടുകൂടെ പ്രവചിക്കയും ആൾ മാറിയതുപോലെ ആയ്തീരുകയും ചെയ്യും.
