3. 19ശൗലും അവരും യിസ്രായേല്യർ ഒക്കെയും ഏലാതാഴ്‌വരയിൽ ഫെലിസ്ത്യരോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടു.
4. 20അങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് അതികാലത്തു എഴുന്നേറ്റു ആടുകളെ കാവല്ക്കാരന്റെ പക്കൽ വിട്ടേച്ചു, യിശ്ശായി തന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതൊക്കെയും എടുത്തുംകൊണ്ടു ചെന്നു കൈനിലയിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ സൈന്യം പടെക്കു ആർത്തുവിളിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പുറപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു.
5. 21യിസ്രായേലും ഫെലിസ്ത്യരും നേർക്കുനേരെ അണിനിരന്നുനിന്നു.
