1. 20അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ ഒരുവശത്തു ഒരു ലാക്കിന്നു എയ്യുന്ന ഭാവത്തിൽ മൂന്നു അമ്പു എയ്യും.
2. 21നീ ചെന്നു അമ്പു നോക്കി എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു വരിക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ഒരു ബാല്യക്കാരനെ അയക്കും. അമ്പുകൾ നിന്റെ ഇപ്പുറത്തു ഇതാ, എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു വരിക എന്നു ഞാൻ ബാല്യക്കാരനോടു പറഞ്ഞാൽ നീ അവ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു വരിക; യഹോവയാണ, നിനക്കു ശുഭമല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നും വരികയില്ല.
3. 22എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ബാല്യക്കാരനോടു: അമ്പു നിന്റെ അപ്പുറത്തു അതാ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ നിന്റെ വഴിക്കു പൊയ്ക്കൊൾക; യഹോവ നിന്നെ പറഞ്ഞയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
4. 23ഞാനും നീയും തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തിലോ, യഹോവ എനിക്കും നിനക്കും മദ്ധ്യേ എന്നേക്കും സാക്ഷി.
5. 24ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദ് വയലിൽ ഒളിച്ചു; അമാവാസ്യയായപ്പോൾ രാജാവു പന്തിഭോജനത്തിന്നു ഇരുന്നു.
