ആഖീശ് തന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരോടു: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ഭ്രാന്തൻ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നില്ലയോ? അവനെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?

King James Version (KJV): Then said Achish unto his servants, Lo, ye see the man is mad: wherefore [then] have ye brought him to me?

13അവരുടെ മുമ്പാകെ തന്റെ പ്രകൃതി മാറ്റി, അവരുടെ കൈകളിൽ ഇരിക്കെ ബുദ്ധിഭ്രമം നടിച്ചു വാതിലിന്റെ കതകുകളിൽ വരെച്ചു താടിമേൽ തുപ്പൽ ഒലിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
14ആഖീശ് തന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരോടു: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ഭ്രാന്തൻ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ കാണുന്നില്ലയോ? അവനെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നതു എന്തിന്നു?
15എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ഭ്രാന്തുകളിപ്പാൻ ഇവനെ കൊണ്ടുവരേണ്ടതിന്നു എനിക്കു ഇവിടെ ഭ്രാന്തന്മാർ കുറവുണ്ടോ? എന്റെ അരമനയിലോ ഇവൻ വരേണ്ടതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
