3. 6എന്നാറെ ആഖീശ് ദാവീദിനെ വിളിച്ചു അവനോടു: യഹോവയാണ, നീ പരമാർത്ഥിയും പാളയത്തിൽ എന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള നിന്റെ ഗമനാഗമങ്ങൾ എനിക്കു ബോധിച്ചതും ആകുന്നു. നീ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്ന നാൾമുതൽ ഇന്നുവരെയും ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ ഒരു ദോഷവും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല; എന്നാൽ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്കു നിന്നെ ഇഷ്ടമല്ല.
4. 7ആകയാൽ നീ ചെയ്യുന്നതു ഫെലിസ്ത്യപ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായി തോന്നാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാധാനത്തോടെ മടങ്ങിപ്പൊയ്ക്കൊൾക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
5. 8ദാവീദ് ആഖീശിനോടു: എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്തു? എന്റെ യജമാനനായ രാജാവിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ നേരെ ഞാൻ ചെന്നു പൊരുതുകൂടാതവണ്ണം നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്ന നാൾമുതൽ ഇന്നുവരെ നീ അടിയനിൽ എന്തു കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
