അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: നിനക്കുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്തു? എന്നെ ഒന്നും മറെക്കരുതേ; നിന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത സകലത്തിലും ഒരു വാക്കെങ്കിലും മറെച്ചാൽ ദൈവം നിന്നോടു തക്കവണ്ണവും അധികവും ചെയ്യട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Appol avan: ninakkuntaaya arulappaatu entu? Enne onnum marekkarute; ninnotu arulichcheyta sakalattilum oru vaakkengkilum marechchaal daivam ninnotu takkavannavum adhikavum cheyyatte ennu paranynyu.

- 18അങ്ങനെ ശമൂവേൽ സകലവും അവനെ അറിയിച്ചു; ഒന്നും മറെച്ചില്ല. എന്നാറെ അവൻ: യഹോവയല്ലോ; തന്റെ ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ ചെയ്യട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
- 19എന്നാൽ ശമൂവേൽ വളർന്നു, യഹോവ അവനോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ വചനങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നും നിഷ്ഫലമാകുവാൻ ഇട വരുത്തിയില്ല.
