4. 31അബ്ശാലോമിനോടുകൂടെയുള്ള കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുകാരിൽ അഹീഥോഫെലും ഉണ്ടെന്നു ദാവീദിന്നു അറിവു കിട്ടിയപ്പോൾ: യഹോവേ, അഹീഥോഫെലിന്റെ ആലോചനയെ അബദ്ധമാക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
5. 32പിന്നെ ദാവീദ് മലമുകളിൽ ദൈവത്തെ ആരാധിച്ചുവന്ന സ്ഥലത്തു എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അർഖ്യനായ ഹൂശായി അങ്കി കീറിയും തലയിൽ മണ്ണു വാരിയിട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു അവന്നെതിരെ വരുന്നതു കണ്ടു.
