ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദും അവന്റെ ആളുകളും വഴിനടന്നുപോകുമ്പോൾ ശിമെയിയും മലഞ്ചരിവിൽകൂടി അടുത്തു നടന്നു; നടന്നുകൊണ്ടു ശപിക്കയും കല്ലും പൂഴിയും വാരി അവനെ എറികയും ചെയ്തു.

Ingngane daaveedum avante aalukalum vazhinatannupokumpol shimeyiyum malanycharivilkooti atuttu natannu; natannukontu shapikkayum kallum poozhiyum vaari avane erikayum cheytu.

13ഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദും അവന്റെ ആളുകളും വഴിനടന്നുപോകുമ്പോൾ ശിമെയിയും മലഞ്ചരിവിൽകൂടി അടുത്തു നടന്നു; നടന്നുകൊണ്ടു ശപിക്കയും കല്ലും പൂഴിയും വാരി അവനെ എറികയും ചെയ്തു.
14രാജാവും കൂടെയുള്ള സകല ജനവും ക്ഷീണിച്ചവരായി എത്തി അവിടെ ആശ്വസിച്ചു.
15എന്നാൽ അബ്ശാലോമും യിസ്രായേല്യരായ ജനമൊക്കെയും അഹീഥോഫെലുമായി യെരൂശലേമിൽ എത്തി.
