3. 4അവന്റെ അപ്പൻ മരിച്ചശേഷം ദൈവം അവനെ അവിടെനിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ പാർക്കുന്ന ഈ ദേശത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു പാർപ്പിച്ചു.
4. 5അവന്നു അതിൽ ഒരു കാലടി നിലംപോലും അവകാശം കൊടുത്തില്ല; അവന്നു സന്തതിയില്ലാതിരിക്കെ അവന്നും അവന്റെ ശേഷം അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും അതിനെ കൈവശമായി നല്കുമെന്നു അവനോടു വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തു.
5. 6അവന്റെ സന്തതി അന്യദേശത്തു ചെന്നു പാർക്കും; ആ ദേശക്കാർ അവരെ അടിമയാക്കി നാനൂറു സംവത്സരം പീഡിപ്പിക്കും എന്നു ദൈവം കല്പിച്ചു.
