അവർ കർമ്മേലിന്റെ കൊടുമുടിയിൽ ഒളിച്ചിരുന്നാലും ഞാൻ അവരെ തിരഞ്ഞു അവിടെനിന്നു പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുവരും; അവർ എന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽനിന്നു സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അടിയിൽ മറഞ്ഞിരുന്നാലും ഞാൻ അവിടെ സർപ്പത്തോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടു അതു അവരെ കടിക്കും.

- 4അവർ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോയാലും ഞാൻ അവിടെ വാളിനോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടു അതു അവരെ കൊല്ലും. നന്മെക്കായിട്ടല്ല തിന്മെക്കായിട്ടു തന്നേ ഞാൻ അവരുടെ മേൽ ദൃഷ്ടിവെക്കും.
- 5സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ദേശത്തെ തൊടുന്നു; അതു ഉരുകിപ്പോകുന്നു; അതിൽ പാർക്കുന്നവർ ഒക്കെയും വിലപിക്കും; അതു മുഴുവനും നീലനദിപോലെ പൊങ്ങുകയും മിസ്രയീമിലെ നദിപോലെ താഴുകയും ചെയ്യും.
