അവയെ അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ലാത്ത അവരുടെ മക്കൾ കേൾക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങൾ യോർദ്ദാൻ കടന്നു കൈവശമാക്കുവാൻ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തു നിങ്ങളുടെ ആയുഷ്കാലമൊക്കെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടുവാൻ പഠിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും ജനത്തെ വിളിച്ചുകൂട്ടേണം.

- 14അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോടു: നീ മരിപ്പാനുള്ള സമയം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ യോശുവെക്കു കല്പന കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവനെ വിളിച്ചു നിങ്ങൾ സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിങ്കൽ വന്നുനില്പിൻ എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെ മോശെയും യോശുവയും ചെന്നു സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിങ്കൽ നിന്നു.
