അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മേഘസ്തംഭത്തിൽ കൂടാരത്തിങ്കൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി; മേഘസ്തംഭം കൂടാരവാതിലിന്നു മീതെനിന്നു.

- 15അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മേഘസ്തംഭത്തിൽ കൂടാരത്തിങ്കൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി; മേഘസ്തംഭം കൂടാരവാതിലിന്നു മീതെനിന്നു.
- 16യഹോവ മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നീ നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ നിദ്രപ്രാപിക്കും; എന്നാൽ ഈ ജനം പാർപ്പാൻ ചെല്ലുന്ന ദേശത്തിലെ നിവാസികളുടെ അന്യദൈവങ്ങളെ പിൻചെന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്കയും എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു ഞാൻ അവരോടു ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം ലംഘിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
- 17എന്റെ കോപം അവരുടെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചിട്ടു ഞാൻ അവരെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ മുഖം അവർക്കു മറെക്കയും ചെയ്യും; അവർ നാശത്തിന്നിരയായ്തീരും; അനേകം അനർത്ഥങ്ങളും കഷ്ടങ്ങളും അവർക്കു ഭവിക്കും; നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം നമ്മുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടല്ലയോ ഈ അനർത്ഥങ്ങൾ നമുക്കു ഭവിച്ചതു എന്നു അവർ അന്നു പറയും.
