- 39മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടു പോന്ന കുഴെച്ച മാവുകൊണ്ടു അവർ പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത ദോശ ചുട്ടു; അവരെ മിസ്രയീമിൽ ഒട്ടും താമസിപ്പിക്കാതെ ഓടിച്ചുകളകയാൽ അതു പുളിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല; അവർ വഴിക്കു ആഹാരം ഒന്നും ഒരുക്കിയിരുന്നതുമില്ല.
- 40യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ മിസ്രയീമിൽ കഴിച്ച പരദേശവാസം നാനൂറ്റി മുപ്പതു സംവത്സരമായിരുന്നു.
