1. 30എന്നാൽ നീയും നിന്റെ ഭൃത്യന്മാരും യഹോവയായ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
2. 31അങ്ങനെ ചണവും യവവും നശിച്ചുപോയി; യവം കതിരായും ചണം പൂത്തും ഇരുന്നു.
3. 32എന്നാൽ കോതമ്പും ചോളവും വളർന്നിട്ടില്ലാഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു നശിച്ചില്ല.
4. 33മോശെ ഫറവോനെ വിട്ടു പട്ടണത്തിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു കൈ മലർത്തിയപ്പോൾ ഇടിമുഴക്കവും കല്മഴയും നിന്നു മഴ ഭൂമിയിൽ ചൊരിഞ്ഞതുമില്ല.
5. 34എന്നാൽ മഴയും കല്മഴയും ഇടിമുഴക്കവും നിന്നുപോയി എന്നു ഫറവോൻ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവൻ പിന്നെയും പാപം ചെയ്തു; അവനും ഭൃത്യന്മാരും ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കി.
