1. 15അതു രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽവെച്ചു അതിഹീനമായിരിക്കും; ഇനി ജാതികൾക്കു മേലായി അതു തന്നെത്താൻ ഉയർത്തുകയും ഇല്ല; അവർ ജാതികളുടെമേൽ വാഴാതവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവരെ കുറെച്ചുകളയും.
2. 16യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹം തിരിഞ്ഞു അവരെ നോക്കുമ്പോൾ, അതു ഇനി അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം ഓർപ്പിക്കുന്നതായോരു ശരണമായിരിക്കയില്ല; ഞാൻ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എന്നു അവർ അറിയും.
3. 17ഇരുപത്തേഴാം ആണ്ടു, ഒന്നാം മാസം, ഒന്നാം തിയ്യതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
4. 18മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ സോരിന്റെ നേരെ തന്റെ സൈന്യത്തെക്കൊണ്ടു വലിയ വേല ചെയ്യിച്ചു; എല്ലാതലയും കഷണ്ടിയായി എല്ലാചുമലും തോലുരിഞ്ഞുപോയി; എങ്കിലും സോരിന്നു വിരോധമായി ചെയ്ത വേലെക്കു അവന്നോ അവന്റെ സൈന്യത്തിന്നോ അവിടെനിന്നു പ്രതിഫലം കിട്ടിയില്ല.
5. 19അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തെ ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്നു കൊടുക്കും; അവൻ അതിലെ സമ്പത്തു എടുത്തു അതിനെ കൊള്ളയിട്ടു കവർച്ചചെയ്യും; അതു അവന്റെ സൈന്യത്തിന്നു പ്രതിഫലമായിരിക്കും.
