1. 4ഏശാവ് ഓടിവന്നു അവനെ എതിരേറ്റു, ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്തു; അവന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽ വീണു അവനെ ചുംബിച്ചു, രണ്ടുപേരും കരഞ്ഞു.
2. 5പിന്നെ അവൻ തലപൊക്കി സ്ത്രീകളെയും കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെയും കണ്ടു: നിന്നോടുകൂടെയുള്ള ഇവർ ആർ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചുതിന്നു: ദൈവം അടിയന്നു നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന മക്കൾ എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
3. 6അപ്പോൾ ദാസിമാരും മക്കളും അടുത്തുവന്നു നമസ്കരിച്ചു;
4. 7ലേയയും മക്കളും അടുത്തുവന്നു നമസ്കരിച്ചു; ഒടുവിൽ യോസേഫും റാഹേലും അടുത്തുവന്നു നമസ്കരിച്ചു.
5. 8ഞാൻ വഴിക്കു കണ്ട ആ കൂട്ടമൊക്കെയും എന്തിന്നു എന്നു അവൻ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: യജമാനന്നു എന്നോടു കൃപതോന്നേണ്ടതിന്നു ആകുന്നു എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.
