20എന്നാൽ മെലിഞ്ഞും വിരൂപമായുമുള്ള പശുക്കൾ പുഷ്ടിയുള്ള മുമ്പിലത്തെ ഏഴു പശുക്കളെ തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞു;
21ഇവ അവയുടെ വയറ്റിൽ ചെന്നിട്ടും വയറ്റിൽ ചെന്നു എന്നു അറിവാനില്ലായിരന്നു; അവ മുമ്പിലത്തെപ്പോലെ തന്നേ വിരൂപമുള്ളവ ആയിരുന്നു. അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ഉണർന്നു.

23അവയുടെ പിന്നാലെ ഉണങ്ങിയും നേർത്തും കിഴക്കൻ കാറ്റിനാൽ കരിഞ്ഞുമിരിക്കുന്ന ഏഴു കതിർ പൊങ്ങിവന്നു.
24നേർത്ത കതിരുകൾ ഏഴു നല്ല കതിരുകളെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളഞ്ഞു. ഇതു ഞാൻ മന്ത്രവാദികളോടു പറഞ്ഞു; എന്നാൽ വ്യാഖ്യാനിപ്പാൻ ആർക്കും കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.
