അന്നാളിൽ ആയിരം വെള്ളിക്കാശു വിലയുള്ള ആയിരം മുന്തിരിവള്ളി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന സ്ഥലമൊക്കെയും മുള്ളും പറക്കാരയും പിടിച്ചുകിടക്കും.

- 25തൂമ്പാകൊണ്ടു കിളെച്ചുവന്ന എല്ലാമലകളിലും മുള്ളും പറക്കാരയും പേടിച്ചിട്ടു ആരും പോകയില്ല; അതു കാളകളെ അഴിച്ചുവിടുവാനും ആടുകൾ ചവിട്ടിക്കളവാനും മാത്രം ഉതകും.
