- 21എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്നു അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരുന്നു വാഴുവാൻ ഒരു മകൻ ഇല്ലാതെ വരത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവനോടും എന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരായ ലേവ്യപുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും ഉള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും ദുർബ്ബലമായ്‌വരാം.
- 22ആകാശത്തിലെ സൈന്യത്തെ എണ്ണുവാനും കടല്പുറത്തെ മണൽ അളക്കുവാനും കഴിയാത്തതുപോലെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ സന്തതിയെയും എന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരായ ലേവ്യരെയും വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും.

- 24യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന രണ്ടു വംശങ്ങളെയും അവൻ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു എന്നു ഈ ജനം പറയുന്നതു നീ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? ഇങ്ങനെ അവൻ എന്റെ ജനത്തെ അതു ഇനി ഒരു ജാതിയല്ല എന്നു ദുഷിച്ചു പറയുന്നു.
- 25യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; പകലിനോടും രാത്രിയോടും ഉള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം നിലനില്ക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ, ഞാൻ ആകാശത്തിന്റെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും വ്യവസ്ഥ നിയമിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെങ്കിൽ,
