2. 32ഞാനോ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു ഉയർത്തപ്പെട്ടാൽ എല്ലാവരെയും എങ്കലേക്കു ആകർഷിക്കും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
3. 33ഇതു താൻ മരിപ്പാനുള്ള മരണവിധം സൂചിപ്പിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞതത്രേ.
4. 34പുരുഷാരം അവനോടു: ക്രിസ്തു എന്നേക്കും ഇരിക്കും എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിൽ വായിച്ചുകേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ ഉയർത്തപ്പെടേണ്ടതെന്നു നീ പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ? ഈ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ ആർ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
5. 35അതിന്നു യേശു അവരോടു: ഇനി കുറെയകാലം മാത്രം വെളിച്ചം നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഇരിക്കും; ഇരുൾ നിങ്ങളെ പിടിക്കാതിരിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു വെളിച്ചം ഉള്ളേടത്തോളം നടന്നുകൊൾവിൻ. ഇരുളിൽ നടക്കുന്നവൻ താൻ എവിടെ പോകുന്നു എന്നു അറിയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.
