അവർ പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസരിന്റെയും നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയുടെയും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെയും മുമ്പിൽ അടുത്തുചെന്നു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ഒരു അവകാശം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു തരുവാൻ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ അവൻ യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം അവരുടെ അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ അവർക്കു ഒരു അവകാശം കൊടുത്തു.
