5. 14ഹായിരാജാവു അതു കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവനും നഗരവാസികളായ അവന്റെ ജനമൊക്കെയും ബദ്ധപ്പെട്ടു എഴുന്നേറ്റു നിശ്ചയിച്ചിരുന്ന സമയത്തു സമഭൂമിക്കു മുമ്പിൽ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ നേരെ പടെക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടു. പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ പിൻവശത്തു തനിക്കു വിരോധമായി പതിയിരിപ്പു ഉണ്ടു എന്നു അവൻ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.
