ഒരുത്തനും ചാടിപ്പോയില്ല. അങ്ങനെ ആ കാലത്തു മോവാബ് യിസ്രായേലിന്നു കീഴടങ്ങി; ദേശത്തിന്നു എണ്പതു സംവത്സരം സ്വസ്ഥതയുണ്ടാകയും ചെയ്തു.
Oruttanum chaatippoyilla. Angngane aa kaalattu movaab yisraayelinnu keezhatangngi; deshattinnu enpatu sanvatsaram svasthatayuntaakayum cheytu.

- 31അവന്റെ ശേഷം അനാത്തിന്റെ മകനായ ശംഗർ എഴുന്നേറ്റു; അവൻ ഒരു മുടിങ്കോൽകൊണ്ടു ഫെലിസ്ത്യരിൽ അറുനൂറുപേരെ കൊന്നു; അവനും യിസ്രായേലിനെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.
