And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.

4. 8ഹെരോദാവു യേശുവിനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവനെക്കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവനെ കാണ്മാൻ വളരെക്കാലമായി ഇച്ഛിച്ചു, അവൻ വല്ല അടയാളവും ചെയ്യുന്നതു കാണാം എന്നു ആശിച്ചിരുന്നു.
5. 9ഏറിയോന്നു ചോദിച്ചിട്ടും അവൻ അവനോടു ഉത്തരം ഒന്നും പറഞ്ഞില്ല.
