47അവിടെ നിന്നിരുന്നവരിൽ ചിലർ അതു കേട്ടിട്ടു; അവൻ ഏലീയാവെ വിളിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
48ഉടനെ അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ ഓടി ഒരു സ്പോങ്ങ് എടുത്തു പുളിച്ച വീഞ്ഞു നിറെച്ചു ഓടത്തണ്ടിന്മേൽ ആക്കി അവന്നു കുടിപ്പാൻ കൊടുത്തു.
