ഉറവുവാതിൽ മിസ്പാദേശത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭുവായ കൊൽ-ഹോസെയുടെ മകനായ ശല്ലൂൻ അറ്റകുറ്റം തീർത്തു; അവൻ അതു പണിതു മേച്ചൽ കഴിച്ചു കതകും ഓടാമ്പലും അന്താഴവും ഇണക്കി രാജോദ്യാനത്തിന്റെ നീർപ്പാത്തിക്കരികെയുള്ള കുളത്തിന്റെ മതിലും ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങുന്ന കല്പടിവരെ തീർത്തു.

King James Version (KJV): But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Col-hozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king’s garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.
World English Bible (WEB): Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of the district of Mizpah, repaired the spring gate. He built it, covered it, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars; and he repaired the wall of the pool of Shelah by the king’s garden, even to the stairs that go down from David’s city.
