- 17ഞാൻ അവനെ കാണും, ഇപ്പോൾ അല്ലതാനും; ഞാൻ അവനെ ദർശിക്കും, അടുത്തല്ലതാനും. യാക്കോബിൽനിന്നു ഒരു നക്ഷത്രം ഉദിക്കും; യിസ്രായേലിൽനിന്നു ഒരു ചെങ്കോൽ ഉയരും. അതു മോവാബിന്റെ പാർശ്വങ്ങളെയെല്ലാം തകർക്കയും തുമുലപുത്രന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും സംഹരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
