ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു കേൾക്കുന്നവൻ, അത്യുന്നതന്റെ പരിജ്ഞാനം പ്രാപിച്ചവൻ, സർവ്വശക്തന്റെ ദർശനം ദർശിക്കുന്നവൻ, വീഴുമ്പോൾ കണ്ണു തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നവൻ പറയുന്നതു:

17ഞാൻ അവനെ കാണും, ഇപ്പോൾ അല്ലതാനും; ഞാൻ അവനെ ദർശിക്കും, അടുത്തല്ലതാനും. യാക്കോബിൽനിന്നു ഒരു നക്ഷത്രം ഉദിക്കും; യിസ്രായേലിൽനിന്നു ഒരു ചെങ്കോൽ ഉയരും. അതു മോവാബിന്റെ പാർശ്വങ്ങളെയെല്ലാം തകർക്കയും തുമുലപുത്രന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും സംഹരിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.
18എദോം ഒരു അധീനദേശമാകും; ശത്രുവായ സെയീരും അധീനദേശമാകും; യിസ്രായേലോ വീര്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കും.
