അവൻ എനിക്കു സ്നേഹിതനോ സഹോദരനോ എന്നപോലെ ഞാൻ പെരുമാറി; അമ്മയെക്കുറിച്ചു ദുഃഖിക്കുന്നവനെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ ദുഃഖിച്ചു കുനിഞ്ഞുനടന്നു.

Psalm 35:14 in English

King James Version (KJV): I behaved myself as though [he had been] my friend [or] brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth [for his] mother.
World English Bible (WEB): I behaved myself as though it had been my friend or my brother. I bowed down mourning, as one who mourns his mother.

12അവർ എനിക്കു നന്മെക്കു പകരം തിന്മചെയ്തു എന്റെ പ്രാണന്നു അനാഥത്വം വരുത്തുന്നു.
13ഞാനോ, അവർ ദീനമായ്ക്കിടന്നപ്പോൾ രട്ടുടുത്തു; ഉപവാസംകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്തു; എന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന എന്റെ മാർവ്വിടത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവന്നു.

15അവരോ എന്റെ വീഴ്ചയിങ്കൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചു കൂട്ടം കൂടി; ഞാൻ അറിയാത്ത അധമന്മാർ എനിക്കു വിരോധമായി കൂടിവന്നു, അവർ ഇടവിടാതെ എന്നെ പഴിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു.
16അടിയന്തരങ്ങളിൽ കോമാളികളായ വഷളന്മാരെപ്പോലെ അവർ എന്റെ നേരെ പല്ലുകടിക്കുന്നു.
