അതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻതന്റെ ജനത്തെ ഇതിലേക്കു തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ ധാരാളം വെള്ളം വലിച്ചുകുടിക്കുന്നു.

Atukontu avantante janatte itilekku tirikkunnu; avar dhaaraalam vellam valichchukutikkunnu.

King James Version (KJV): Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full [cup] are wrung out to them.

8അവർ പരിഹസിച്ചു ദുഷ്ടതയോടെ ഭീഷണി പറയുന്നു; ഉന്നതഭാവത്തോടെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
9അവർ വായ് ആകാശത്തോളം ഉയർത്തുന്നു; അവരുടെ നാവു ഭൂമിയിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു.
10അതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻതന്റെ ജനത്തെ ഇതിലേക്കു തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ ധാരാളം വെള്ളം വലിച്ചുകുടിക്കുന്നു.
11ദൈവം എങ്ങനെ അറിയുന്നു? അത്യുന്നതന്നു അറിവുണ്ടോ? എന്നു അവർ പറയുന്നു.
12ഇങ്ങനെ ആകുന്നു ദുഷ്ടന്മാർ; അവർ നിത്യം സ്വസ്ഥത അനുഭവിച്ചു സമ്പത്തു വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
