And it shall come to pass, [that] when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.

3. 3ആരെങ്കിലും ഇനി പ്രവചിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച അപ്പനും അമ്മയും അവനോടു: യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ ഭോഷ്ക്കു സംസാരിക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു നീ ജീവനോടിരിക്കയില്ല എന്നു പറകയും അവനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ച അപ്പനും അമ്മയും അവൻ പ്രവചിക്കയിൽതന്നേ അവനെ കുത്തിക്കളകയും ചെയ്യും.
4. 4അന്നാളിൽ പ്രവാചകന്മാർ പ്രവചിക്കയിൽ ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ ദർശനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ലജ്ജിക്കും; ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർ രോമമുള്ള മേലങ്കി ധരിക്കയുമില്ല.
5. 5ഞാൻ പ്രവാചകനല്ല, കൃഷിക്കാരനത്രേ; എന്റെ ബാല്യത്തിൽ തന്നേ ഒരാൾ എന്നെ വിലെക്കു മേടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവൻ പറയും. എന്നാൽ അവനോടു:
