1. 16നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യേണ്ടുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ ഇവയാകുന്നു: ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു സത്യം പറവിൻ; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളിൽ നേരോടും സമാധാനത്തോടുംകൂടെ ന്യായപാലനം ചെയ്‌വിൻ.
2. 17നിങ്ങളിൽ ആരും തന്റെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെനേരെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ദോഷം നിരൂപിക്കരുതു; കള്ളസ്സത്യത്തിൽ ഇഷ്ടം തോന്നുകയും അരുതു; ഇതെല്ലാം ഞാൻ വെറുക്കുന്നതല്ലോ എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.
3. 18സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
4. 19സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നാലാം മാസത്തെ ഉപവാസവും അഞ്ചാം മാസത്തെ ഉപവാസവും ഏഴാം മാസത്തെ ഉപവാസവും പത്താം മാസത്തെ ഉപവാസവും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തിന്നു ആനന്ദവും സന്തോഷവും പ്രമോദമായുള്ള ഉത്സവങ്ങളും ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതുകൊണ്ടു സത്യവും സമാധാനവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുവിൻ.
5. 20സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഇനി ജാതികളും അനേക പട്ടണങ്ങളിലെ നിവാസികളും വരുവാൻ ഇടയാകും.
