యొర్దాను గట్టులమీదుగా పొర్లి పారుచుండు మొదటి నెలయందు దానిని దాటిపోయి తూర్పులోయలలోను పడమటిలోయలలోను ఉన్న వారినందరిని తరిమివేసినవారు వీరే.

- 17దావీదు బయలుదేరి వారికి ఎదురుగా పోయి వారితో ఇట్లనెనుమీరు సమాధానము కలిగి నాకు సహాయముచేయుటకై నాయొద్దకు వచ్చియున్నయెడల నా హృదయము మీతో అతికియుండును; అట్లుగాక నా వలన మీకు అపకారమేదియు కలుగలేదని యెరిగి యుండియు, నన్ను నా శత్రువులచేతికి అప్పగింపవలెనని మీరు వచ్చియున్నయెడల మన పితరులయొక్క దేవుడు దీనిని చూచి మిమ్మును గద్దించును గాక.
