దావీదును మందసమును మోయు లేవీయులందరును పాటకులును పాటకుల పనికి విచారణకర్తయగు కెనన్యాయును సన్నపునారతో నేయబడిన వస్త్రములు ధరించుకొని యుండిరి, దావీదును సన్నపు నారతో నేయబడిన ఏఫోదును ధరించియుండెను.

Daaveedunu mandasamunu moyu leveeyulandarunu paatakulunu paatakula paniki vichaaranakartayagu kenanyaayunu sannapunaarato neyabadina vastramulu dharinchukoni yundiri, daaveedunu sannapu naarato neyabadina ephodunu dharinchiyundenu.

King James Version (KJV): And David [was] clothed with a robe of fine linen, and all the Levites that bare the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers: David also [had] upon him an ephod of linen.

28ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును ఆర్బా éటము చేయుచు, కొమ్ములు బూరలు ఊదుచు, తాళములు కొట్టుచు, స్వరమండలములు సితారాలు వాయించుచు యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసమును తీసికొనివచ్చిరి.
29యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసము దావీదుపురములోనికి రాగా సౌలు కుమార్తెయైన మీకాలు కిటికీలోనుండి చూచి రాజైన దావీదు నాట్యమాడుటయు వాయించుటయు కనుగొని తన మనస్సులో అతని హీనపరచెను.
