9మనము ప్రభువును శోధింపక యుందము; వారిలో కొందరు శోధించి సర్పములవలన నశించిరి.
10మీరు సణుగకుడి; వారిలో కొందరు సణిగి సంహారకుని చేత నశించిరి.
11ఈ సంగతులు దృష్టాంతములుగా వారికి సంభవించి, యుగాంతమందున్న మనకు బుద్ధి కలుగుటకై వ్రాయబడెను.
12తాను నిలుచుచున్నానని తలంచుకొనువాడు పడకుండునట్లు జాగ్రత్తగా చూచుకొనవలెను.
13సాధారణముగా మనుష్యులకు కలుగు శోధన తప్ప మరి ఏదియు మీకు సంభవింపలేదు. దేవుడు నమ్మదగినవాడు; మీరు సహింప గలిగినంతకంటె ఎక్కువగా ఆయన మిమ్మును శోధింపబడ నియ్యడు. అంతేకాదు, సహింపగలుగుటకు ఆయన శోధనతోకూడ తప్పించుకొను మార్గమును కలుగ జేయును.
