అన్య భాషలు మాటలాడు జనులద్వారాను, పరజనుల పెదవులద్వారాను, ఈ జనులతో మాటలాడుదును; అప్పటికైనను వారు నా మాట వినకపోదురు అని ప్రభువు చెప్పుచున్నాడని ధర్మశాస్త్రములో వ్రాయ బడియున్నది.
Anya bhaashalu maatalaadu januladvaaraanu, parajanula pedavuladvaaraanu, ee janulato maatalaadudunu; appatikainanu vaaru naa maata vinakapoduru ani prabhuvu cheppuchunnaadani dharmashaastramulo vraaya badiyunnadi.

- 23సంఘమంతయు ఏకముగా కూడి అందరు భాషలతో మాటలాడుచుండగా, ఉపదేశము పొందనివారైనను అవి శ్వాసులైనను లోపలికి వచ్చినయెడల, మీరు వెఱ్ఱిమాట లాడుచున్నారని అనుకొందురు కదా?
