అవశ్యముగా నీ కుమారుడైన సొలొమోను నా తరువాత ఏలువాడై నాకు ప్రతిగా నా సింహాసనము మీద ఆసీనుడగునని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా నామము తోడని నేను నీకు ప్రమాణము చేసినదానిని ఈ దినముననే నెరవేర్చుదునని చెప్పగా

- 31బత్షెబ సాగిల పడి రాజునకు నమస్కారము చేసినా యేలినవాడైన రాజగు దావీదు సదాకాలము బ్రదుకును గాక అనెను.
- 32అప్పుడు రాజైన దావీదుయాజకుడైన సాదోకును ప్రవక్త యైన నాతానును యెహోయాదా కుమారుడైన బెనా యాను నాయొద్దకు పిలువుమని సెలవియ్యగా వారు రాజు సన్నిధికి వచ్చిరి.
