నా యేలిన వాడా, నీవు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాతోడని నీ సేవకు రాలనైన నాకు ప్రమాణము చేసి అవశ్యముగా నీ కుమారు డైన సొలొమోను నా వెనుక ఏలువాడై నా సింహాసనము మీద ఆసీనుడగునని సెలవిచ్చితివే,

- 17నా యేలిన వాడా, నీవు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాతోడని నీ సేవకు రాలనైన నాకు ప్రమాణము చేసి అవశ్యముగా నీ కుమారు డైన సొలొమోను నా వెనుక ఏలువాడై నా సింహాసనము మీద ఆసీనుడగునని సెలవిచ్చితివే,
- 18ఇప్పుడైతే అదోనీయా యేలుచున్నాడు. ఈ సంగతి నా యేలినవాడవును రాజవునగు నీకు తెలియకయే యున్నది.
- 19అతడు ఎడ్లను క్రొవ్విన దూడలను గొఱ్ఱెలను బలిగా అర్పించి రాజ కుమారులనందరిని యాజకుడైన అబ్యాతారును సైన్యాధి పతియైన యోవాబును పిలిపించెను గాని నీ సేవకుడైన సొలొమోనును పిలువలేదు.
