3. 12మూడవ దినమందు నాయొద్దకు రండని రాజు నిర్ణయము చేసియున్నట్లు యరొబామును జనులందరును మూడవ దినమున రెహబాము నొద్దకు వచ్చిరి.
4. 13అప్పుడు రాజు పెద్దలు చెప్పిన ఆలోచనను నిర్లక్ష్యపెట్టి ¸యౌవనులు చెప్పిన ఆలోచనచొప్పున వారికి కఠినముగా ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చి యిట్లు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను
5. 14నా తండ్రి మీ కాడిని బరువుగా చేసెను గాని నేను మీ కాడిని మరి బరువుగా చేయుదును, నా తండ్రి చబుకులతో మిమ్మును శిక్షించెను గాని నేను కొరడాలతో మిమ్మును శిక్షించుదును.
