16జిమీ కుట్రచేసి రాజును చంపించెనను వార్త అక్కడ దిగియున్న జనులకు వినబడెను గనుక ఇశ్రాయేలువారందరును ఆ దినమున సైన్యాధిపతియైన ఒమీని దండుపేటలో ఇశ్రాయేలు వారిమీద రాజుగా పట్టాభిషేకము చేసిరి.
17వంటనే ఒమీ గిబ్బెతోనును విడిచి అతడును ఇశ్రాయేలు వారందరును తిర్సాకు వచ్చి దాని ముట్టడి వేసిరి.
