ఇతడు నఫ్తాలిగోత్రపు విధవరాలి కుమారుడై యుండెను; ఇతని తండ్రి తూరు పట్టణపువాడగు ఇత్తడి పనివాడు. ఈ హీరాము పూర్ణ ప్రజ్ఞగల బుద్ధిమంతుడును ఇత్తడితో చేయు సమస్తమైన పనులలోను బహు చమత్కారపు పనివాడునై యుండెను; అతడు సొలొమోనునొద్దకు వచ్చి అతని పని అంతయు చేసెను.
