1. 3కాబట్టి నీవు పోయి కనికరింపక అమాలే కీయులను హతము చేయుచు, పురుషులనేమి స్త్రీలనేమి బాలురనేమి పసిపిల్లలనేమి యెద్దులనేమి గొఱ్ఱెలనేమి ఒంటెలనేమి గార్దభములనేమి అన్నిటిని హతముచేసి వారికి కలిగినదంతయు బొత్తిగా పాడుచేసి అమాలేకీయు లను నిర్మూలము చేయుమని చెప్పెను.
2. 4అంతట సౌలు జనులను పోగుచేసి తెలాయీములో వారిని లెక్క పెట్టగా, కాలుబలము రెండు లక్షలమందియు యూదావారు పదివేలమందియు నుండిరి.
3. 5అప్పుడు సౌలు అమాలేకీయుల పట్టణములలో నొకదానికి వచ్చిన లోయలో పొంచియుండి
4. 6ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి వచ్చినప్పుడు మీరు వారికి ఉపకారము చేసితిరి గనుక అమాలేకీయులతోకూడ నేను మిమ్మును నాశనము చేయ కుండునట్లు మీరు వారిలోనుండి బయలుదేరి పోవుడని కేనీయులకు వర్తమానము పంపగా కేనీయులు అమాలేకీ యులలోనుండి వెళ్లిపోయిరి.
5. 7తరువాత సౌలు అమాలేకీ యులను హవీలానుండి ఐగుప్తుదేశపు మార్గముననున్న షూరువరకు తరిమి హతముచేసి
