If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if [they be] the children of men, cursed [be] they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.

4. 20నా దేశమునకు దూరముగాను, యెహోవా సన్నిధికి ఎడమగాను నేను మరణము నొందకపోవుదును గాక. ఒకడు పర్వతములమీద కౌజుపిట్టను తరిమినట్టు ఇశ్రాయేలు రాజవైన నీవు మిన్నల్లిని వెదకుటకై బయలుదేరి వచ్చితివి.
5. 21అందుకు సౌలునేను పాపము చేసితిని, ఈ దినమున నాప్రాణము నీ దృష్టికి ప్రియముగా నుండినదానిబట్టి నేను నీకిక కీడుచేయను. దావీదా నాయనా, నాయొద్దకు తిరిగిరమ్ము; వెఱ్ఱి వాడనై నేను బహు తప్పు చేసితిననగా
