King James Version (KJV): And David came to the two hundred men, which were so faint that they could not follow David, whom they had made also to abide at the brook Besor: and they went forth to meet David, and to meet the people that [were] with him: and when David came near to the people, he saluted them.

22దావీదుతోకూడ వెళ్లినవారిలో దుర్మార్గులును, పనికి మాలినవారునైన కొందరువీరు మనతోకూడ రాక నిలిచిరి గనుక తమ భార్యలను పిల్లలను తప్ప మనకు మరల వచ్చిన దోపుడు స ొమ్ములో మన మేమియు వీరికియ్యము; తమ భార్య పిల్లలను వారు తీసికొని పోవచ్చుననిరి.
23అందుకు దావీదు వారితో ఇట్లనెనునా సహోదరు లారా, యెహోవా మనలను కాపాడి మనమీదికి వచ్చిన యీ దండును మనకప్పగించి మనకు దయచేసిన దాని విషయములో మీరు ఈలాగున చేయ కూడదు.
